Participants will enhance their knowledge and gain valuable experience through a variety of engaging learning activities. This initiative fosters a deeper understanding and promotes a strong conscience for sustainable natural resource conservation
Geology World Learning Station
The Geology World Learning Station is an educational hub that explores the history of our planet and the Earth itself—from the birth of the universe, the solar system, and Earth, to the geological changes throughout various eras.
The station features exhibitions on the formation of mineral deposits and the composition and properties of different minerals essential to human life. It also presents the fascinating history of dinosaurs, extinction events, and fossils, which serve as vital evidence for studying Earth’s history. Furthermore, visitors can explore the Rock Cycle, including igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks, illustrating the natural processes of formation, transformation, and interconnection. This learning station fosters a systematic understanding of geology and inspires visitors to appreciate and utilize natural resources sustainably.
Weather Forecasting Learning Station
Weather forecasting is the prediction of future atmospheric conditions based on the observation and analysis of various atmospheric elements. These include temperature, wind, air pressure, humidity, and cloud formations—all of which directly influence rain, sunshine, storms, and the daily weather patterns we experience.
Herbal Garden Learning Station
The Herbal Garden features a diverse range of plants, from culinary herbs used in cooking—such as holy basil, Thai basil, lemongrass, ginger, galangal, and kaffir lime—to medicinal herbs with healing properties, including turmeric, aloe vera, Andrographis paniculata (Fah Talai Jone), gotu kola, and black galingale.
The garden also hosts various other herbs, including foliage plants, climbers, and rhizomes, which offer a wide array of benefits for cooking, treating illnesses, and overall health restoration. These are organized into functional zones, such as herbs for cough relief, herbs for skin care, and carminative herbs (to aid digestion).
Reserved Wild Animals Learning Exhibition
This exhibition showcases knowledge about Thailand’s reserved wild animals, allowing visitors to learn about their species, characteristics, importance, and conservation status. Its primary goal is to raise awareness and inspire the sustainable conservation of natural resources and wildlife for future generations.
